Thomas Dale “Tommy” Gunnells, 30, of Dresden, died Thursday August 28, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery near Kenton, TN with burial to immediately follow. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home. Tommy was born May 7, 1984 in Trenton, TN to Diana Gunnells Rodgers of Dresden and Jerald Rodgers of West Memphis, AR. He was a general laborer in construction. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Gunnells of Dresden, children, Autumn Dale Gunnells of Dresden and Kymieko Maree Gunnells of Sharon, TN, brothers; Jeffrey Lynn (Emma) Gunnells of Memphis, TN and Dylan Lee (Heather) Rodgers of Hamilton, AL, sisters; Laken Ambria and Savannah Leann Rodgers of Paris, TN and Blaire Smith of Dyer, TN. He was preceded in death by one brother, Corey Rodgers.
