Mrs. Stella Mae Maxey Coats, 90, of Dresden, TN died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 2:00. Mrs. Coats was born April 14, 1924 in Weakley County, TN to the late Cannie and Thelma Gregory Maxey. She was the widow of Fred Baxter Coats and was a self employed beautician for many years. She is survived by her son, Martin Allen (Dawn) Jenkins of Dresden and stepson, John David Coats also of Dresden.
