Q. and Annie Harris Adams. He worked in the construction of the M.T.D. facilities and later retired as a forklift operator at M.T.D. He was also a former member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Dale Adams, William Oren Adams, and John Harris Adams. He is survived by two daughters, Tracye Romeo of Castle Rock, CO and Denise Moore of Lompoc, CA; 3 grandchildren; a brother, Howard Adams of California; a sister, Geneva Poynter of Chicago, Il; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, burial services will be private. Ms. Zickel was born April 3, 1962 in Park Ridge, IL to the late Clinton and Nancy Blassingame Mullins. Cynthia attended Lake View High School in Chicago, IL. She married Larry Zickel in 1986. She was the President of a bubble wand company, Nuboz, Inc. and proudly obtained her G.E.D. from the Clinton Community College in Iowa in 2008. She enjoyed many years as a stay-at-home mom and grandmother, and previously worked as a secretary and waitress. She was a devoted mother and friend, who brightened the life of all those she met with her enormous heart and free-spirited soul. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Kirkland Cancer Center, Hospice of West Tennessee, and dear friend Brenda Schrader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Mullins. Ms. Zickel is survived by three daughters, Michelle Zickel of Sterling, MA, Jacquelyn Zickel of Dresden, TN, and Katlin Zickel of Chicago, IL; a grandson, Christopher Zickel of Dresden, TN; a sister, Brenda Wagner of Maquoketa, IA; and a half-brother Shane Zey of Monroe, WA.
